Party with the Spanish in what has been described as one of the biggest street parties in Southern Spain.
The Malaga Fair known as the Malaga Feria commences on the third weekend of August and consists of ten days of daytime drinking & dancing in the City Centre. At night the festivities continue a couple of kilometres out of town - with more drinking & more partying !

This must be the best excuse the Malaguenos have for a full on drinking session !!
The fiesta starts off with a bang at midnight with a firework display in the port. The following day everyone takes to the streets around the main high street Marques de Larios, with Señoritas dressed in their traditional flamenco dresses, passionately dancing "Sevillanas" - the traditional dance of Andalucia. |

The vibe here is absolutely amazing, the city shuts down as millions of people take to the streets to party the Spanish way. The bars, clubs and restaurants are the only places open for business. You'll also find plenty of large drinking stalls scattered around the city, serving the local sweet wine 'Cartojal', as well as San Miguels and tapas.

At 7.00pm, the party starts to wind down on the streets as most people prepare for the "Real de la Feria" on the outskirts of town. This is the perfect time to have a siesta and recharge those batteries, it may be necessary if you want to party until sunrise.
There is a special bus service that will take you to the night time Feria, and if you don't do public transport you can always catch cab.

Once there, you'll find over one hundred large stalls (known as "casetas") with live entertainment, refreshments and tapas. We suggest you take a stroll around the stalls and then take your pick !
The fun fair is also worth a visit. It's one of the biggest fun fairs we've ever seen ! With all of the typical fairground rides and loads more, it will entertain your hen group for hours.

At one in the morning, the night is only just starting ! You can head back into Benalmadena or Malaga to continue the night or you can stay at the night time Feria, enjoying the rides and visiting the drinking stalls.
When your body can not take any more, get yourselves to bed because you will be doing it all over again tomorrow !!
